BRANDING AND MESSAGING
Tech start-up Digital Dream Labs came to us for help with strategy and branding with their new educational gaming platform before it launched.
Puzzlets is a groundbreaking way for kids to learn how to think like professionals in the STEM fields. The games are interactive, and feature both a virtual interface on a tablet as well as a real-world interface in the form of a smart game board.
Because kids are encouraged to play the games collaboratively (with parents, teachers or peers), and the game isn't solely a video game in which they only interact with a screen, Puzzlets needed a quick way to dissuade parental fears of too much game and screen time. The solution was a simple message:
"Make Game Time, Brain Time."
Packaging
We created the packaging concept with the client, and I shot all the photos, edited them, then passed them to the design team for layout.
Kids Plus Pediatrics
Messaging
Kids plus pediatrics is an independent network of doctors who focus on making healthcare a positive experience for kids and parents. They focus on the experience of the children, and the relationships they build with the families, and providing resources for healthy lives.
They wanted to make sure that their site not only promoted Doctors' visits, but also the myriad programs and classes they offer as well as the online resources for children's healthcare. Noting that parents often worry about their kids, and that Kids+ is a source of comfort and relief, I arrived at this messaging.

Solid Steel Buildings, Inc.
Content STRATEGY
Solid Steel Buildings Inc. is a designer and builder of pre-engineered steel buildings. Every structure they create is designed by them, and custom-fabricated at their manufacturer's facility, shipped to the site, and built by their own team.
For their new site I strategized the content organization and flow of the site overall, determining what was important to keep or discard from their old site, as well as what new content should be added.
Site Writing
Being built in the days of spoofing search engines with copious keywords, and awkward, verbose writing, the content needed to be refreshed.
Working closely with the client to get their vision, I completely rewrote the site, including:
- Creative Headlines
- Lead Text
- Body Copy
- Bios
Tri-Arc Manufacturing
CAMPAIGN BRANDING
Tri-Arc manufacturing is one of the largest manufacturers of fixed and rolling steel ladders. I created a strategic campaign for them, and (playing on their product as well as their incredible customer service) I came up with their tagline:
"Going a Step Above,
to Put You a Step Ahead."
MARKETING AUTOMATION
I created a and implemented a strategic, automated digital marketing campaign. People who visited the site were asked for their email addresses in exchange for insider information, expanded catalogues, and other rewards.
We were then able to track the most interested leads based on how they interacted with the site as well as digital marketing from social to email. I structured the system to adapt the messaging, custom tailoring it for each contact, and scoring their interest for the sales team.

I also created a video for Tri-Arc to use in it's digital marketing, to run as an online ad, and to live on their site. You can see that video on the videos page.
The Glenmerrill
Aged Pennsylvania Whiskey
The Glennmerrill is a private label, home-aged whiskey we branded for one of our top clients. In December 2013 we took a 5 liter aging kit created by Wigel Whiskey, and created a label, logo, and seal harkening to the scotch whiskeys we love so much.
I landed on the name "The Glennmerrill" (in honor of the recipient),
and created the label seen here.
Textile Campaign Concepts
This campaign for an allergen-proof bed cover product was simple in message and execution:
Educate the public that allergens can be an unrealized source of sleepless nights for anyone.
Furthermore, this product is the solution you may not even realize you need.
